Madison Lawrence is an illustrator and concept artist who is passionate about dark fantasy and fairy-tale art. She specializes in 2D character and creature design and is always looking for ways to add a flair of whimsical horror to her work. Madison studied illustration with a specialization in concept art at the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD).

She has had her eyes opened by the unique worlds within video games, which have fueled her interest in storytelling. She also takes great inspiration from her environment to create grand fantasies to place her characters in. She is impacted by the works of World of Warcraft, Dark Souls/Bloodborne, and books like The Hobbit and Inkheart. She works to recreate her childlike wonder through her pieces in hopes of inspiring others to find their passion.

Madison has done work for several indie companies, most notably Team Polaris’ Colors of Love and Laytale’s Aya and the Tale of Tails.
